It takes between 4 1/2 and 5 hours to cook the lamb, depending on weather, wind, etc, and about 2 hours to set everything up, so we like to be on site 7 hours before you wish to eat.
The lamb is constantly turning on a stainless steel spit to achieve even cooking. We bring all the equipment to prepare, cook, and carve the lamb, including a stainless steel table, and trays. When the lamb is cooked it is placed on stainless steel trays for carving, which can be done in almost any venue that you may require. We also have chafing dishes, which can be hired to keep the meat warm longer if needed.

We don’t bring the wood as most people have some form of wood fire in their homes, but if this is not the case I do have contacts in the wood and log business, and can arrange for a supply for your event.
We like to meet new customers before the day of their event, to answer any questions they may have and also to assess the site for safety.
We always use a local traditional butcher when we are asked to supply the lamb. He is very well known in his field for his high quality produce. |
